Life Coaching: What is it and What it's not?

First and foremost, thank you for visiting our website! I am taking the time to educate our visitors about Life coaching through blogging on several life topics. This first segment is on What is Life Coaching and what it’s not? The object of the post is to inform potential clients what life coaching is, what it’s not, and What to expect?

Life coaching is the practice of assisting people to get and keep motivation with a healthy lifestyle change. Life coaches are persons that come from different walks of life with vast experiences, interest, and education. I am a professional coach and have a certificate in personal development coaching from the education through CaPP Institute. I have a Master degree in Social Work from Howard University and currently in Capella University Doctoral of Social Work Program, and 10 years of experience as a Community Supervision Officer assisting people to find solutions to their life stressors. Life coaching is not counseling. Counseling is conducted by a Clinical Professional with a license. Life coaching is about setting S.M.A.R.T. and attainable goals that are set in a time span that is effective for the client, which promotes work-life balance. Life coaching is about inspiring and motivating the client to be the best version of themselves while achieving their life purpose and vision. Before engaging in a coaching call(s), you will be asked to complete a coaching agreement, client information form, client history, and a coaching call agenda for an effective session(s). We are here to RESTORE, REBUILD, RENEW, & EMPOWER!
